British national Viswashkumar Ramesh is currently the only survivor of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner crash in India, the Hindustan Times reported on Thursday, June 12.
The newspaper said that 40-year-old Ramesh was planning to return to the UK with his brother after visiting relatives in India. 45-year-old Ajay Kumesh Ramesh was not sitting nearby and the search for him is ongoing.
Viswashkumar Ramesh, a British national, is the sole survivor of Air #India Flight 171. Seated on 11A, he escaped by jumping from the aircraft moments before it was engulfed in flames.
