The Ministry of Defense has admitted the domestic unmanned aviation complex Volyniaka to operation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the department.
Volyniaka is a bomber hexacopter designed to destroy a wide range of enemy targets. The first modifications of this "bomber" have been operating at the front since the first months of the large-scale war.
"They have hundreds of destroyed samples of enemy military equipment, dugouts and concentrations of enemy force. They are capable of performing combat missions in any weather, at dusk, in strong winds. The latest versions have significantly improved characteristics," the report says.
The unmanned complex consists of a control panel, pilot's goggles, a repeater and a reusable hexacopter equipped with six powerful brushless engines.
The aircraft is designed specifically for transporting cargo in difficult combat conditions. It can drop ammunition on enemy targets, the striking power of which is enough to destroy heavily armored targets. In addition, the Volyniaka can perform logistical tasks: deliver the necessary equipment to positions.
Recall that earlier Ukraine created a new drone Vespa-15.
