On the night of Thursday, June 12, the russian occupiers once again attacked Kharkiv with kamikaze drones. As a result of the shelling, there were casualties, including children, and damage. This was reported by the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov.
"From 01:37 am to 03:08 am, the enemy once again attacked Kharkiv with suicide drones. 11 hits were recorded and another Shahed, which, fortunately, did not explode," the mayor said.
According to Terekhov, residential areas, educational institutions, kindergartens, and infrastructure were hit by the shelling. Dozens of cars were damaged, windows in schools and houses were broken. At least 12 people were injured as a result of the enemy attack, including 4 children.

The mayor added that as a result of the russian strikes, fires were recorded in the territories of residential buildings and educational institutions. In some cases, debris fell right near playgrounds. One of the strikes damaged the elevator shaft of a high-rise building, another destroyed part of a non-residential building and a public transport stop.
"The services worked all night and are now continuing to eliminate the consequences. Kharkiv is holding on. People are alive. And this is the most important thing. Take care of yourself. And we thank everyone who continues to defend and restore the city under shelling," Terekhov summed up.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of June 11, russian kamikaze drones massively attacked Kharkiv. Numerous hits were recorded in the city. There are killed and wounded as a result of the attack.
