Drones attack gunpowder factory in russia: explosions heard, fire breaks out

On the night of June 11, drones attacked the Tambov gunpowder factory in the city of Kotovsk, located more than 350 km from the border with Ukraine. This enterprise produces ammunition and explosives for the russian armed forces.

According to russian Telegram channels, residents of Kotovsk heard at least 15 explosions, and air raid sirens were turned on in the city.

The acting governor of the Tambov Oblast, Yevgeny Pervishov, said that after the fall of one of the downed drones, a fire broke out at the factory, which was quickly extinguished. According to him, there were no casualties.

The russian Defense Ministry reported that 32 Ukrainian drones were allegedly shot down during the night, five of them in the sky over the Tambov Oblast.
