On the night of June 10, russian troops struck Odesa with kamikaze drones. One of the drones hit a maternity hospital.
This was reported by the mayor of the city, Hennadii Trukhanov, and the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
According to Trukhanov, the administrative part of the medical facility was damaged: “Fortunately, no one was injured. But the very fact of striking a place where life is born is shocking in its cruelty.”
The head of the Regional Military Administration specified that the enemy massively attacked the city with drones, as a result of which fires broke out and civilian infrastructure was damaged. “The russians hit a maternity hospital, an emergency medical station, and residential buildings. Patients and maternity hospital staff managed to evacuate. Data on other facilities is being clarified,” Kiper added.
That same night, russian drones attacked other Ukrainian cities. A large-scale air alert was declared in Ukraine.
