On the night of June 6, the Defense Forces hit airfields of the russian occupiers and other important military facilities of the enemy. This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, it is reported that the Defense Forces successfully struck the airfield Engels in the Saratov Oblast - a place of concentration of enemy aircraft, which remained after the SSU operation Spider Web. The airfield Diagilevo in the Ryazan Oblast was also hit, where air tankers and escort fighters are based, which are used to provide missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, enemy strategic bombers take off from Diagilevo.
In addition, in the Saratov Oblast, numerous hits were confirmed in at least three tanks with fuel and lubricants, followed by ignition and a large-scale fire at the facility. The General Staff reported that the occupants' emergency services were unable to localize the fire, so significant smoke is observed. Dozens of explosions were recorded in the area of the targets. In particular, the defeat of the logistics point of the 30th motorized rifle regiment of the 72nd motorized rifle division of the russian army in the area of the settlement of Kulbaki, Kursk Oblast was recorded.
