Three State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) employees were killed while dealing with the consequences of a nighttime missile and drone attack on Kyiv. This was reported by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.
"Three SESU rescuers were killed in Kyiv while dealing with the consequences of enemy strikes. They were working under fire to help people. Another 9 emergency workers were injured. Some are seriously injured, doctors are fighting for their lives," the minister said.
Also, according to Klymenko, five rescuers were injured while extinguishing a fire in the Ternopil Region. All are receiving the necessary medical care.
The SESU reported that firefighters-rescuers Pavlo Yezhor, Danylo Skadin, and Andrii Remennyi were killed.

"The russians took the lives of people who were the first to rush to eliminate the consequences of the terrible blow. People who went on regular duty, as always - in combat readiness. Before going to work, they kissed and hugged their wives and children... And never returned... Each of them had a favorite work, desires, plans for life. But the enemy decided otherwise," the State Emergency Service reported.
We will remind, on the night of June 6, Kyiv was subjected to a combined attack by the russian federation. Four people were killed as a result of the shelling, about 20 more were injured. Residential buildings, cars, infrastructure facilities and subway tracks were damaged.
