Russia holds 1 missile carrier in Black Sea – Navy

As of 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, russia had one ship on combat duty in the Black Sea - a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, and had not deployed its warships to the Sea of Azov.

The Command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on its Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

“There is 1 enemy ship in the Black Sea, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 6 missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of ​​Azov; there are 3 enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, 1 of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles," the message says.

Over the past day, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in the interests of the russian federation:

- to the Black Sea – 3 vessels, 3 of which continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;

- to the Sea of ​​Azov – 2 vessels, 1 of which moved from the Bosphorus Strait.

The russian federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems, the Ukrainian Navy emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 3, there were two russian missile carriers in the Black Sea, and there were no enemy ships in the Sea of ​​Azov.
