The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has carried out a cyberattack on the resources of the design bureau of the company "Tupolev" of the aggressor country russia, which is engaged in the production of aviation equipment.

RBC-Ukraine and Ukrainska Pravda reported this with reference to their own sources in the Defense Intelligence.

According to the sources, as a result of the attack on the resources of "Tupolev", the intelligence managed to obtain more than 4.4 gigabytes (GB) of data. These are official documents, personal information of employees, documents on procurement and minutes of closed meetings.

Thanks to this data, Ukrainian intelligence received information about persons who are directly involved in the maintenance of strategic aviation aircraft of the russian army.

"The value of the data obtained is difficult to overestimate. Now there is practically nothing secret left in the activities of the Tupolev Design Bureau for Ukrainian intelligence," the source said.

In addition, the intelligence officers hacked the official Tupolev website, placing on its main page an image of an owl (the service symbol) holding an airplane in its claws.
