Defense Ministry approves Chief-1 enemy drone hunter for operation

The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for operation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine the Ukrainian-made Chief-1 unmanned aviation complex, designed to destroy enemy aircraft or manpower from a module for destroying enemy aircraft with shot cartridges. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The Ministry of Defense notes that the Chief-1 has a light and durable frame, powerful engines, high maneuverability, and a successful design for air combat.

The drones are equipped with automatic recognition systems and achieving the optimal distance for hitting the target, and can fire in manual or automatic mode. The Chief-1 destroys enemy FPVs, bombers, some types of correctors, and reconnaissance aircraft.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in May, the Ministry of Defense allowed the Ukrainian-made Baton Optic unmanned aerial vehicle complex with fiber-optic control to be operated in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
