Russians in Sumy Region do not take into account losses and continue to enter territory of Ukraine - Border Service

In the Sumy Region, the russian federation does not take into account losses of personnel and continues to try to enter the territory of Ukraine in infantry groups within the Yunakivska and Khotynska communities, the use of heavy equipment for advancement is not recorded at the moment. This was reported on June 2 by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service Andrii Demchenko during a telethon.

It is reported that the defense forces are destroying the occupiers by the dozens every day, but they continue to advance, not counting the killed.

"We must pay tribute to our soldiers, who are courageously holding the defense, destroying dozens of invaders every day, both killed and wounded, but, unfortunately, the enemy does not take into account its losses. Some are killed - others continue to advance," Demchenko noted.

Russia mainly uses infantry groups, sometimes using ATVs and motorcycles for a quick breakthrough and consolidation in plantings and forest belts. The use of armored vehicles is not currently observed. Infantry groups entered from the settlements of Basivka and Zhuravka, but now the penetration zone is expanding.
