Two bridges collapse in Kursk and Bryansk Oblasts - russia says they were blown up, there are killed and injured

At least seven people were killed and 69 injured in the collapse of two bridges in the Kursk and Bryansk Oblasts of the aggressor state of russia. Russia claims that both bridges were blown up.

Reuters reported this, citing russian officials.

Thus, russian investigators said that a bridge over a railway in the Bryansk Oblast was allegedly blown up at 10:50 p.m. on Saturday evening, when a passenger train carrying 388 passengers to moscow was passing under it.

According to them, just four hours later, a railway bridge over a highway exploded in the neighboring Kursk Oblast, as a result of which the wreckage of a freight train fell onto the road.

The Investigative Committee of russia, which investigates serious crimes, linked these incidents and clearly stated that both bridges were blown up.

In the Bryansk Oblast, photos and videos appeared on social networks showing passengers trying to get out of broken cars in the dark. Part of the passenger train was crushed under a collapsed road bridge, and the broken cars lay next to the tracks.

Meanwhile, russian politicians have made accusations against Ukraine, saying that this is clearly sabotage aimed at disrupting the peace talks demanded by the United States.

As a reminder, Ukraine, together with partners in Europe and the United States, is preparing new diplomatic steps aimed at achieving a just peace. However, despite talk of a possible meeting in Istanbul, as of now there is no clear information about what proposals or intentions the russian delegation is going there with, which raises doubts about the seriousness of moscow's approach.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of May 31, a military train of russian occupiers was blown up in the Melitopol District of the Zaporizhzhia Region, disrupting a key logistical artery in the occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia Region and Crimea.
