The son of Verkhovna Rada member Oleksii Honcharenko works at a McDonald's fast food restaurant.
This is stated in the MP’s declaration for 2024, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to its data, his son Oleksii received UAH 7,800 in wages at the foreign-invested enterprise "McDonald's Ukraine LTD".
He also received an additional benefit from the same enterprise in the amount of UAH 482, probably referring to free lunches received by the institution's employees.
In March, Honcharenko published a post indicating that his 18-year-old son Oleksii is studying at the Odesa Mechnykov University.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Verkhovna Rada member from the European Solidarity faction Oleksii Honcharenko owns 2 apartments in Odesa and one in Kyiv.
Honcharenko’s salary in the Rada for 2024 was UAH 693,000.
Honcharenko also received income abroad:
- UAH 2.1 million as other remuneration for the use of an audiovisual work from Awards Media Group Inc (Canada).
- UAH 5,000 as other remuneration for the use of an audiovisual work (lecture) from Harvard College (USA).
The largest income in the family was declared by his wife Olha – UAH 6,500 million from entrepreneurial activity.
