100 locals in Khmelnytskyi Region blocked territorial recruitment and social support center’s vehicle

About 100 citizens blocked a vehicle of a mobile alert car of one of the territorial recruitment and social support centers in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi Region.

The Khmelnytskyi Region’s territorial recruitment and social support center stated this on Thursday, May 29.

"Today, a case of gross obstruction of the lawful activities of representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was recorded in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi. A group of citizens numbering about 100 people blocked a service car of the mobile alert group of one of the territorial recruitment and social support centers. According to available information, the vehicle was damaged (the tires were slashed), and the actions of the citizens showed signs of organized resistance to the performance of official duties by representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the report said.

Law enforcement officers and representatives of the military law enforcement service are working at the scene. The territorial recruitment and social support center called on citizens to stop illegal actions and comply with the norms of current legislation of Ukraine. Any actions that hinder the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not go without proper legal assessment, the department emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 25, a group of people attacked military of a territorial recruitment and social support center in Kremenchuk, Poltava Region.

On May 29, a serviceman from one of the district territorial recruitment and social support centers of the Kharkiv Region was seriously injured as a result of the explosion of an unknown object that he found near his car.

Also on May 29, a 27-year-old man sprayed gas in the face of a serviceman from the Bucha territorial recruitment and social support center’s alert group.
