The website of the initiative of the head of the russian federation vladimir putin "Time of Heroes" indicates that Gurtsiev led the air part of the strikes on Mariupol, the Agentstvo noted. Gurtsiev was a military man. He "incorporated his developments into the technology of missile guidance, which allowed them to significantly increase their accuracy and effectiveness, in particular, to hit the Azov supply base."

During the siege of Mariupol, the russians constantly bombed the city with aerial bombs.
