Russia attacks Ukraine with ballistic missiles and strike drones. Hits recorded in 8 locations

On the night of Wednesday, May 28, russian troops launched 5 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, a Kh-59/69 guided missile and 88 drones into the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 34 UAVs, another 37 drones were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.

The press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of May 28 (from 8 p.m. on May 27), the enemy used 5 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, a Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missile from the Kursk and Voronezh Oblasts (both - the russian federation) and the occupied Crimea.

The enemy also attacked 88 Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Millerovo, Oryol, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - the russian federation).

"As of 9 a.m., air defenses neutralized 71 enemy Shahed UAVs (drones of other types) in the east, north and south of the country. 34 were shot down by fire weapons, 37 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare," the report says.

Enemy air attack vehicles were recorded in 8 locations.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of May 27, the russians launched 60 strike UAVs and other types of drones over Ukraine, and air defense forces neutralized 43 drones: 35 were shot down and 8 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.
