Last week, the aggressor country of the russian federation attacked Kharkiv for the first time with an FPV drone with a warhead based on an RPG (hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher).
The mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, reported this on his Telegram channel.
According to him, Kharkiv remains "one of the key targets on the map of enemy terror." In total, there were seven hits in the city last week.
"For the first time during the entire full-scale invasion, the enemy used an FPV drone with a warhead based on an RPG. This is a new, even more insidious threat, which indicates an attempt to find "vulnerable spots" in the city's defense," Terekhov wrote.
11 people were injured in a week, including a child. A 14-year-old teenager received a traumatic brain injury.
"The destruction, as before, affected exclusively civilian infrastructure: private houses, multi-storey residential buildings, printing houses and office premises were damaged," the mayor added.
We will remind you that on the night of Monday, May 26, the aggressor country russia used the largest number of drones against Ukraine since the start of a full-scale war - 355 strike drones.
