9 members of the Verkhovna Rada propose to the parliament to provide additional leave to military personnel who are in the combat zone for a long time.
This is stated in bill No. 13303, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is proposed to provide military personnel under martial law with additional annual leave in connection with their stay and performance of military service duties in the territory where combat operations are taking place, with the duration of:
- 10 calendar days - in connection with the performance of military service duties in the territory where combat operations are taking place, within 1 calendar year;
- 20 calendar days - in connection with the performance of military service duties in the territory where combat operations are taking place, within 2 calendar years;
- 30 calendar days - in connection with the performance of military service duties in the territory where hostilities are taking place, for 3 calendar years;
- 40 calendar days - in connection with the performance of military service duties in the territory where hostilities are being conducted, for 4 calendar years and more.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada intends to preserve intellectual property rights for military inventors.
