In 2024, the Ukrnaftoburinnya private joint-stock company under the management of PJSC Ukrnafta received UAH 1.19 billion of net profit.
This is stated in the message of the Ukrnafta company, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The message says that UAH 1.074 billion of it was sent to the state budget.
“In August 2024, Ukrnaftoburinnya resumed work at the Sakhalynske field in the Kharkiv Region. The company’s net profit for 2024 is UAH 1.19 billion. Today, UAH 1.074 billion has been paid to the state budget - 90% of net profit. The enterprise continues to produce natural gas, which is critically needed by the country,” said Acting Director of PJSC Ukrnafta Yurii Tkachuk.
It is noted that in July 2024, the state budget of Ukraine received a tranche of UAH 747.7 million from Ukrnafta, received from the management of the Ukrnaftoburinnya company.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in early August 2024, the court allowed the Ukrnaftoburinnya private joint-stock company to resume production at the Sakhalynske field.
On December 1, 2023, Ukrnaftoburinnya stopped the production of natural gas and gas condensate at the Sakhalynske oil and gas condensate field due to the cancellation by the court of a special permit for the use of subsoil.
Previously, before the forced shutdown by the court, the production of the Ukrnaftoburinnya company amounted to 1.4 million cubic meters of gas per day.
In May 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers transferred the corporate rights of Ukrnaftoburinnya to the management of the largest oil producing company, Ukrnafta.
