Trump's son does not rule out running for US President

The eldest son of US President Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., said he does not rule out the possibility of his own participation in the presidential election in the future. He said this on Wednesday during a panel discussion in Qatar, Reuters writes.

"So the answer is: I don't know. Maybe one day, you know, there will be a call. I will always remain active in terms of loudly supporting these ideas," he answered the question, referring to the values of the Make America Great Again movement, which was launched by his father.

Trump Jr., 47, has already become a political figure in his own right. As Reuters reported in November, he was the most influential member of the Trump family during the transition period, when his father was forming the future government and preparing to return to the White House.

Speaking at the Qatar Economic Forum in Doha, he also expressed his belief that his father had significantly transformed the Republican Party.

"I believe that my father really changed the Republican Party. Now it is the America First party, the MAGA party - whatever you call it," he said.

As we will recall, Trump's son previously published a mocking video of Zelenskyy being thrown off the cover of Time.
