The Ministry of Defense has allowed new models of specialized boats of Ukrainian production to be operated in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the department.
It is noted that the boats can perform a wide range of tasks in conditions of both the open sea and river mouths, large lakes, etc.
"The design features of Ukrainian boats allow them to be used in hard-to-reach places - on floodplains, on rocky, silted bodies of water. The boats have increased resistance to moderate water surface turbulence, significant load capacity and small draft," the report says.
Depending on the tasks, the boats can be equipped with a bow turret, electronic warfare systems, echo sounders, carriages, mobile soft fuel tanks and other specialized equipment adapted to the conditions of modern combat.
It is reported that the boats have already been tested in real conditions.
