On the night of May 21, air defense forces worked over Kyiv and the Kyiv Region - repelling an attack by enemy drones. This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration and Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
“Air defense forces are working to eliminate the threat in the sky over Kyiv,” the Kyiv City Military Administration report said.
The air alert, which lasted for more than an hour and a half, was canceled at 04:58 am. According to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, a family of five people, including three children, were injured as a result of the attack in the Boryspil district.
“A 17-year-old boy, a 3-year-old girl and their 42-year-old mother have an acute stress reaction. A 13-year-old son has a cut wound to his foot, and a 30-year-old man has a wound to his brow,” Kalashnyk said.
He noted that hospitalization was not required at this time, and all the victims are receiving medical care.
A private house where a family was staying was damaged by falling debris.
“Windows were broken in the building, the roof was damaged. We are resolving the issue of temporary housing for the family,” Kalashnyk added.
Emergency services continue to record the consequences of the attack. Photos and videos from the scene of the night explosions have already appeared on social networks.
