The winner of Eurovision 2025, which took place on May 17 in Basel (Switzerland), was Austria. Singer JJ (Johannes Pietsch) won with the song "Wasted Love", gaining 436 points. Meanwhile, Ukraine took 9th place in the competition with 218 points.

Thus, the winner of Eurovision 2025, the representative of Austria, received 258 points from the jury and 178 points from the audience. His performance combined operatic vocals with pop elements, and the scenography, inspired by the maritime theme, was created by Spanish directors Sergio Jaen and Borja Rueda.

Israel: Yuval Raphael – New Day Will Rise (357 points),
Estonia: Tommy Cash – Espresso Macchiato (356 points).
Meanwhile, Ukraine was represented by the band Ziferblat with the song Bird of Pray in the style of disco-funk with elements of hippie culture of the 60s–70s. In the final, they took 9th place, gaining 218 points (jury — 98, audience — 120).
The Ukrainian national jury gave 12 points to Germany, 10 to the UK.
Meanwhile, the host of this year's competition, Switzerland, received the most points from the national juries – 214, but from the audience – zero points. At the same time, Iceland did not receive a single point from the jury, and from the audience - 33 points. In addition, the United Kingdom received 0 points from the audience for the second year in a row.
Final results
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to bookmakers' forecasts, the victory was to be won by the band from Sweden KAJ with the humorous composition Bara Bada Bastu, and the second place was confidently secured by JJ from Austria with the song Wasted Love.
