Air alert in Kyiv lasted 9 hours, there is damage in 2 districts

On the night of May 18, an air alert lasted for almost 9 hours in Kyiv due to a russian drone attack. Damage was recorded in the Solomianskyi and Holosiivskyi Districts.

The Kyiv City Military Administration has reported this.

"The air alert at night on May 18 lasted for 8 hours and 54 minutes (from 11:59 p.m. to 8:54 a.m.) due to the threat of the use of Russian drones," the message says.

It is indicated that as a result of the enemy attack on civilian infrastructure, damage was recorded to the glazing of the windows of one of the apartments of a residential building in the Solomianskyi District.

In addition, damage was recorded to the roof of a non-residential building in the Holosiivskyi District.

There were no casualties as a result of the russian attack on the capital.

At the same time, the Kyiv City Military Administration adds, the Obukhiv and Fastiv Districts of the Kyiv Region were affected by the enemy attack, where a woman was killed and a child and two adults were injured. A residential building, a warehouse and a medical facility were destroyed.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of May 18, the russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 273 drones. Air defense forces shot down 88 drones, and another 128 simulator drones were lost in the field. Three regions were affected by enemy shelling.
