Russian military personnel losses for May 16 increased by 910 to 972,600 people, and Ukrainian defenders destroyed 6 tanks, 7 armored vehicles and 34 artillery systems over the past day.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Thus, the enemy lost 6 tanks (total - 10,831), 7 armored combat vehicles (total - 22,553), 34 artillery systems (total - 27,942), 1 unit of rocket artillery (total - 1,386), 96 units of motor vehicles and fuel tanks (total - 48,809) and 155 drones (total - 36,278) per day.
Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 1,167 air defense systems, 3,892 units of special equipment, 3,197 cruise missiles, 372 aircraft, 336 helicopters, 28 ships/boats and 1 submarine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on May 15 increased by 1,100 to 971,690 people, and equipment losses increased by 13 tanks, 32 armored vehicles, and 36 artillery systems.
