A drone attack carried out by the aggressor country russia on the night of Friday, May 16, destroyed private homes in the Odesa Region, injured three people.
The Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office and the State Emergency Service reported this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Civil infrastructure facilities in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and Odesa Districts were hit. As a result of the enemy attack, two men and a woman received shrapnel wounds, mine-explosive injuries, fractures and thermal burns. At the time of the attack, the victims were at their place of residence," the prosecutor's office reported.
The State Emergency Service specified that as a result of the hit, private residential buildings, outbuildings, and a garage with 3 cars were destroyed.
Fires broke out in the area, which rescuers and volunteers have already extinguished.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Friday, May 16, russian troops launched 112 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 73 of them, another 36 enemy drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).
As a result of the enemy attack, the Odesa, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv and Kyiv Regions suffered.
