On the morning of May 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Albania, where the European Political Community (EPC) summit is taking place.
The information about the head of state's arrival was confirmed by the presidential spokesman Serhii Nykyforov, Ukrinform reports with reference to European Pravda.
"Yes, the President is already in Albania to participate in the EPC summit," Nykyforov said.
The European Political Community summit unites the states of the European continent, including those that are not part of the European Union, in the format of political dialogue and cooperation.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 15, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy decided to send a delegation led by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov to Istanbul for negotiations with the russian side.
