On the morning of May 16, during an air alert in the capital, the consequences of another russian attack by kamikaze drones were recorded. A fire broke out in one of the districts of the city, there was damage to infrastructure and civilian objects.
As reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration, as of 6:55 a.m., the attack resulted in a "fire in a non-residential area of the Sviatoshynskyi District." Rescue services are working on the scene.
The Kyiv City Military Administration also clarified that reports had been received "about debris falling on the road," and relevant services were sent to the scene.
Later, updated information appeared: the debris of the drone fell on the territory of a boiler house in the Sviatoshynskyi District. In addition, the blast wave damaged windows and several cars in a residential area.
Work is ongoing at the scene of the incidents. Information about possible victims, according to KMVA at 7:50 a.m., is still being clarified.
