Trump urges Zelenskyy to immediately agree to talks with russia in Turkey

President Donald Trump said that Ukraine should immediately agree to talks with the aggressor country to discuss a possible end to the war. He wrote about this on his Truth Social network on Sunday, May 11.

"President Putin of Russia doesn’t want to have a Cease Fire Agreement with Ukraine, but rather wants to meet on Thursday, in Turkey, to negotiate a possible end to the BLOODBATH. Ukraine should agree to this, IMMEDIATELY," Trump stressed.

According to him, the meeting in Turkey will help to find out whether a peace agreement is even possible, which will allow Europe and the United States to make further decisions. Trump noted that he is beginning to doubt the readiness of russian dictator putin to make peace, since he is "too busy celebrating the Victory of World War II, which could not have been won (not even close!) without the United States of America."

"HAVE THE MEETING, NOW!!!" urged the US President.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 11, US President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, General Keith Kellogg, said that first there should be an unconditional ceasefire for 30 days, during which peace talks could begin.
