In April 2025, consumer prices increased by 0.7%.
The State Statistics Service has announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In particular, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages in April increased by 1.8%, for clothing and footwear - increased by 0.1%, for housing and communal services - did not change, for services related to health care - did not change, for education - increased by 0.1%.
Compared to April 2024, in April 2025, consumer prices increased by 15.1%.
In January-April 2025, inflation was 4.3%.
In April 2025, the core consumer price index increased by 0.4%.
In January-April 2025, the core consumer price index increased by 3.9%.
Core inflation is a subindex of the consumer price index.
Core CPI (core inflation) is a part of inflation that reflects the dynamics of free prices without taking into account items whose prices are affected by administrative and seasonal factors.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in March inflation was 1.5%, core inflation was 1.4%.
In 2024, inflation was recorded at 12.0%, in 2023 - inflation at 5.1%, in 2022 - inflation at 26.6%, in 2021 - inflation at 10.0%, in 2020 - inflation at 5.0%.
In 2024, core inflation was 10.7%.
The state budget for 2025 provides for an increase in consumer prices (December to December of the previous year) of 9.5%.
