The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the Defense Forces of Ukraine have regained control over a tactically significant area north of the settlement of Lyptsi in the Kharkiv Region, which made it possible to move the line of combat contact away from Kharkiv. The press service of the department has reported this.

"The efforts of the 13th operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Khartiia", the 92nd separate assault brigade named after the koshovyi ataman Ivan Sirko and other units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine have restored control over several square kilometers of a tactically significant area north of the settlement of Lyptsi in the Kharkiv Region," the message says.

It is noted that the liberated forest area was nicknamed "Berlin" by the enemy. The fighting for this area lasted about six months, and the total enemy losses in this area amounted to more than 1,500 people killed and wounded.
