On May 6, 171 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked most of all in the Pokrovsk (77 clashes), Novopavlivsk (23) and Lyman (21) Axes.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched four missile strikes and 96 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, in particular, dropped 187 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out more than 6,400 shelling, 109 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,267 kamikaze drones for strikes.
On May 6, 171 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.
Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, there were eight clashes in the areas of Vovchansk and Vovchanski Khutory.
In the Kupyansk Axis, three attacks by the invaders were recorded.
The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Zahryzove and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 21 times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Lypove, Nadiya, Zelenyi Hai, Ridkodub, Yampolivka, Torske and in the directions of Novyi Myr, Zelena Dolyna and Kolodiazi.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, there were five clashes in the areas of Kurdiumivka and Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk Axis, the russians carried out eight attacks in the areas of Dachne, Druzhba and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 77 attacks of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Kalynove, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Udachne, Zvirove, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiyivka, Troitske, Novoserhiyivka, Kotliarivka, Sribne, Andriyivka and towards Malynivka, Nova Poltavka, Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk, Myroliubivka, Oleksiyivka.
In the Novopavlivsk Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 23 enemy assaults near the settlements of Kostiantynopil, Pryvilne, Rivnopil, Novosilka, Vilne Pole, Shevchenko, Novopil, Odradne.
In the Huliaipole Axis, the enemy twice attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Vysoke area.
In the Orikhiv Axis, near Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamyanske and towards Novoandriyivka, the invaders carried out four futile attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of the Ukraine.
In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the russian occupiers attacked once unsuccessfully, trying to approach the positions of the Defense Forces.
In the Kursk Axis (RF) over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 11 enemy attacks.
The enemy carried out 336 artillery shelling here, 14 of them from MLRS, as well as 12 air strikes, during which it dropped 18 guided aerial bombs.
On May 6, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 10 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, an electronic warfare station, a radar station, four UAV control points, four artillery systems, a control point and two ammunition depots of the russians.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,270 people.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 5, 200 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axes were Pokrovsk (78 clashes), Lyman (31), and Novopavlivsk (24).
