Some cardinals who arrived at the Vatican to elect the next Pope are watching Edward Berger's film "Conclave" to get a kind of guidance for their actions.

The cardinals will have to take part in the complex ritual of papal election. To get an idea of what will happen, they turned to the film.
"As crazy as it may sound, some of the 133 high-ranking clergy who are to enter the Sistine Chapel when the conclave begins on May 7 have turned to the film starring Ralph Fiennes, which has a convenient title of the same name, for tips," the publication writes.
Politico sources claim that some cardinals went to the cinema to get acquainted with the film.
In the film, Ralph Fiennes plays the role of cardinal "Camerlengo" Thomas Lawrence, who is tasked with overseeing the conclave. According to the plot, he has to deal with disgruntled clergy, the emergence of scandalous dossiers directed against the favorites in the papal election, and the emergence of an unknown candidate from a little-known diocese.
The clergy say that "Conclave" fairly accurately conveys the atmosphere of a real papal election. In addition, many of the cardinals have never participated in a conclave and do not have enough experience in Vatican politics.
As a reminder, all 133 cardinals who will participate in the election of the new Pope arrived in the Vatican on May 5.
The conclave to elect the new Pope will begin on Wednesday, May 7.
