At least eleven people were injured and traumatized as a result of a raid by strike drones of the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, on Kyiv at night on May 4. There is destruction in the capital, fires broke out.
This is evidenced by reports from local authorities and the State Emergency Service (SESU).
An air alert in Kyiv was declared at 12:21 a.m., and at 12:28 a.m. it became known that air defense forces were operating in the city.
As the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, later reported, the consequences of the attack by russian drones were recorded in three districts of the capital: Obolonskyi, Sviatoshynskyi and Shevchenkivskyi.
According to him, as a result of the raid by the Shaheds, cars, one apartment building and three residential buildings caught fire.
Two children aged 14 and 17 were injured. Three more women turned to doctors with an acute reaction to stress.
A few hours later, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported the first details about the consequences of the russian drone attack on Kyiv:
- In the Obolonskyi district, a fire broke out in an apartment on the top floor of a 12-story residential building. The fire spread to the roof, which led to its partial destruction. Seven cars were also recorded burning near a residential building at a different address.
- In the Sviatoshynskyi District, fires broke out in three private households.
- In the Shevchenkivskyi District, a tree caught fire as a result of a UAV attack. Damage was recorded to a power line support and road surface.
As of 03:05 a.m., eleven victims were known, including two children.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, on the evening of May 2, the occupiers’ army carried out a massive air attack on Kharkiv. 46 people were injured and traumatized.
The day before, on May 1, russian strike UAVs attacked Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the Shaheds’ raid, 29 people were injured.
