On the night of April 29, 2025, russian troops attacked Kyiv and the region with 11 Shahed strike drones. As a result of the shelling, a recreation center in the Desnianskyi district of the capital caught fire, three people were injured.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram.
"As a result of the night drone attack in the vicinity of Kyiv and in the airspace of the capital, 11 enemy UAVs were recorded. 9 of them were destroyed by air defense. 2 were lost on radar," the message says.
The air alert in Kyiv was declared three times that night - due to the threat of ballistic weapons and a kamikaze drones attack.
The authorities note that no damage to critical infrastructure was recorded. However, the wreckage of one of the downed drones caused a fire on the territory of a recreation center in the Desnianskyi district.
"Three people sought medical help - on the spot, without hospitalization. We wish the injured a speedy full recovery," the Kyiv City Military Administration noted.
The fire was localized by rescuers. According to the State Emergency Service, buildings and cars were damaged, and the consequences of the attack are being eliminated.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, last day the russians wounded 12 civilians in the Kherson Region.
