Trump calls on putin to stop shooting and make deal

US President Donald Trump has called on russian leader vladimir putin to stop the war against Ukraine and sign a peace agreement.

Trump told reporters before boarding the presidential plane.

Trump made his position clear to reporters, answering questions before boarding the presidential plane. He admitted that he was "disappointed when russian missiles were flying" over Ukrainian cities.

When asked about his expectations from putin, Trump said: "I want him to stop shooting, sit down at the table and make a deal. We have the outlines of a deal. I want to make it and get it over with. Just get back to life."

When asked about possible pressure on russia, Trump stressed that he could "do a lot."

"I wouldn't want to do it, but we have a lot of strengths," the American President added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 26, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that russian dictator vladimir putin is ready for talks with Ukraine without preconditions.

At the same time, US President Donald Trump suggested that it is putin who does not want to end the war against Ukraine.
