In 2024, the loss of the ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih mining and metallurgical plant (Dnipropetrovsk Region) decreased by 25.1% to UAH 8.849 billion against a loss of UAH 11.811 billion in 2023.
This is stated in the company's financial report published on the analytical platform YouControl, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The report states that net sales revenue in 2024 increased by 54.3% compared to 2023 to UAH 64.591 billion (2023 - UAH 41.849 billion).
It is noted that the company's labor costs increased by 16.2% to UAH 4.169 billion.
According to YouControl, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih received a profit of UAH 25.216 billion in the pre-war year of 2021.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2024, compared to 2023, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased steel production by 69.9% to 1.651 million tons.
The enterprise's capacity is designed for an annual output of more than 6 million tons of steel, more than 5 million tons of rolled steel and more than 5.5 million tons of pig iron.
95.1283% of the plant's shares belong to Mittal Steel Germany GmbH, which is part of the international holding Arcelor Mittal.
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is the largest producer of rolled steel in Ukraine, specializing in the production of long rolled steel, in particular reinforcement and wire rod.
