Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration – Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna discussed Ukraine's EU accession with Irish Minister of State for European Affairs and Defense Thomas Byrne and Lithuanian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sigitas Mitkus during a meeting in Kyiv.
She reported this on X.
"Thank my dear colleagues, Thomas Byrne and Sigistas Mitkus for visiting Kyiv despite the relentless russian attacks & for your solid support. Had a productive discussion on Ukraine’s EU accession, transformation agenda and the enlargement process," the post says.
Stefanishyna added that she is looking forward to the decision to open negotiation clusters on Ukraine's EU accession, which is "paving the way for substantial discussions across all areas."
"Ukraine has delivered on its part and remains committed to a fair, merit-based approach," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
