US representatives made it clear to Ukrainian officials that the next White House administration may reconsider its position on Ukraine's accession to NATO.
This is reported by The New York Times.
According to the publication, during negotiations in London and Paris, American officials stated that the current US President Donald Trump will continue to oppose Ukraine's membership in the Alliance.
At the same time, they emphasized that the future US administration may take a different position.
"The next US administration could decide to let Ukraine into NATO," one of the newspaper's sources said.
