622 children killed in Ukraine as result of RF armed aggression - Prosecutor General's Office

More than 2,546 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of a full-scale war with the aggressor country, the russian federation. This is announced in a statement by the Prosecutor General's Office.

"As of the morning of April 25, 2025, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 622 children were killed and more than 1,924 were injured of varying severity," it said.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the most affected children were in the following regions: Donetsk - 640, Kharkiv - 490, Kherson - 208, Dnipropetrovsk - 235, Kyiv - 136, Zaporizhzhia - 177, Mykolaiv - 118, Sumy - 134.

  • On April 24, a 17-year-old boy was killed as a result of an attack on Kyiv, 10 more children were injured: five boys aged 3, 5, 10, 12 and 17 and five girls aged 14, 15 and 17.
  • On April 24, a 14-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling of the village of Bezliudivka, Kharkiv district, Kharkiv Region.
  • On April 23, a 12-year-old girl was killed as a result of shelling of the city of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk Region.
  • On April 23, a 16-year-old girl was injured in shelling in the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk Region.
  • On April 23, two girls aged 1 and 3 were injured in a drone attack in the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Region.
  • On April 22, seven children were injured in shelling in Zaporizhzhia: five boys aged 3, 4, 13, 16, and two girls aged 14 and 17.
  • On April 22, a 6-year-old girl was injured in shelling of Kherson.
  • On April 22, a 17-year-old boy was injured in shelling of Kharkiv.

    As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that since the start of the full-scale war, the aggressor country of russia has killed 13,000 civilians, including 618 children.
