US President's Special Envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg positively assessed the talks with the Ukrainian delegation, which took place on April 23 in the capital of Great Britain. He wrote about this on the X network.
“Positive talks in London with Andriy Yermak. It's time to move forward on President Trump's UKR-RU war directive: stop the killing, achieve peace, and put America First,” Kellogg noted.
It should be noted that on the eve of the meeting with the American Envoy, the Ukrainian delegation held consultations with the national security advisers of Great Britain, Germany and France.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak, who was present at the meeting, also reported on the content of the talks.
“We conveyed our position and emphasized that an immediate, full, and unconditional ceasefire must be the first step toward initiating negotiations aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace,” Yermak noted.
He also emphasized that the parties agreed to continue the dialogue and maintain constant communication.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 19, Kellogg stated that Ukraine would not become part of NATO, and that the issue of its accession to the Alliance was not under discussion.
On April 18, Kellogg called the meetings in Paris on ending the war of the aggressor country of russia against Ukraine "very productive."
