Cabinet decides to direct 50% of Oschadbank's profit for 2024 to state budget

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to direct 50% of the State Oschadbank's profit for 2024 to the state budget.

The relevant decision was made by the government, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Oschadbank received UAH 7.9 billion in net profit in 2024, which is UAH 1.9 billion more than in the previous year.

According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the bank's net profit will be distributed as follows:

- 50% of net profit in the amount of UAH 3.9 billion will be directed to paying dividends to the state budget;

- 5% of net profit in the amount of UAH 0.4 billion - to the reserve fund;

- 45% of net profit in the amount of UAH 3.6 billion - to cover accumulated losses of previous years.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, last year the government decided to approve the following distribution of the bank's net profit for 2023 and the amount of annual dividends, which will be directed:

- 30% of net profit in the amount of UAH 1,793,478,000 - to pay dividends to the state budget;

- 5% of net profit in the amount of UAH 298,913,000 - to the reserve fund;

- 65% of net profit in the amount of UAH 3,885,869,000 - to cover accumulated losses from previous years.
