On April 24, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made his first visit to the Republic of South Africa (RSA). In Pretoria, he will meet with President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa.

Zelenskyy reported on his arrival in RSA on Telegram. According to him, negotiations with Ramaphosa, as well as meetings with representatives of political, public and student circles of African countries, are planned as part of the visit.
“It is important to bring a decent peace closer. We are working to involve the G20 countries in diplomatic efforts. We are counting on the active participation of RSA in the international coalition to return thousands of Ukrainian children abducted by russia. We will definitely strengthen our cultural and educational ties,” Zelenskyy noted.
Together with the head of state, First Lady Olena Zelenska arrived in RSA.
