The number of bank outlets has decreased almost 3 times to 5,000 in 10 years (at the beginning of 2015, the number of outlets was over 13,000).
This is evidenced by data from the National Bank, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Ukrainian banks are reducing outlets, transferring services to an online format.
As of April 1, 2025, there were 4,966 operating structural divisions of banks in Ukraine, which is 45 outlets less than at the beginning of the year.
Oschadbank has the largest outlet network - 1,152 operating and 62 temporarily suspended branches.
PrivatBank is in second place in terms of the number of outlets - 1,105 operating and 65 temporarily suspended outlets.
The two state-owned banks are followed by Raiffeisen Bank (325 outlets), FUIB (223 outlets) and UkrSibbank (218 outlets).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of April 1, there were 60 operating banks in Ukraine.
In 2023, the number of bank outlets decreased by 198 to 5,138 units.
In 2022, the number of bank outlets decreased by 1,349 to 5,336 units.
In 2021, the number of bank outlets decreased from 7,134 to 6,685.
In 2020, the number of bank outlets decreased from 8,002 to 7,134.
In 2019, the number of bank outlets decreased by 507 from 8,509 branches.
