On the afternoon of March 22, the russian occupation army attacked Kharkiv with Shahed attack drones. More than ten explosions thundered in the city, there were casualties.
This is according to reports from local authorities, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, wrote that the Shahed attack lasted from 12:55 p.m. to 1:36 p.m. During this time, the drones attacked four districts of the city: Shevchenkivskyi, Saltivskyi, Kyivskyi and Novobavarskyi.
According to him, at least seven people were injured and traumatized. Their condition is not specified.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov wrote that at least twelve strikes were made during the attack on the city.
He added that after the hits, fires started in some places.
At 3:24 p.m., the State Emergency Service (SESU) announced that the number of victims of the Shahed raid had increased to eight people.
The agency said that a residential building, a warehouse and utility room, as well as several cars were on fire due to the drone attack.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of today, April 22, the russian army carried out an air attack on Ukraine, launching more than 50 drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 38 drones of the invaders.
At night, Odesa came under a massive drone attack. Three people were injured as a result of the Shahed raid.
