The company uses the "world's first" 50G PON technology.
It provides a download speed of 10 Gbps and an upload speed of 1 Gbps. Latency has been reduced to three milliseconds.
"For example, previously, downloading a 4K movie took several minutes, but with 10G - a few seconds," explains the publication.
One of the customers of the operator China Unicom told the publication in a comment that the connection worked smoothly while simultaneously using several "smart" devices in the house and watching videos in 8K format.
