The President of the United States of America Donald Trump expressed his hope that the aggressor country of russia and Ukraine "will make a deal this week" and "start to do big business with the United States of America." He wrote about this on his social network Truth Social.
"Hopefully russia and Ukraine will make a deal this week. Both will then start to do big business with the United States of America, which is thriving, and make a fortune," Trump wrote.

It is worth noting that Trump's post does not contain any details about what this "deal" between Ukraine and the aggressor country of russia could be.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 18, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that US President Donald Trump would abandon attempts to conclude a peace agreement between russia and Ukraine within a few days if there are no clear signs that a deal can be concluded.
Later, russian dictator vladimir putin declared an “Easter truce,” ostensibly to halt all hostilities in Ukraine from the evening of April 19 to midnight on April 21.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that as of midnight on April 21, russian forces had violated the ceasefire 2,935 times.
