On April 16, 125 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked most of all in the Pokrovsk (29 clashes), Lyman (16) and Novopavlivsk (15) Axes.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Over the past day, the invaders carried out 2 missile and 94 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, using 4 missiles and 154 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy attracted 2,764 kamikaze drones for strikes and carried out 6,659 shelling on positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements, including 104 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, the enemy twice stormed the positions of the Ukrainian troops in the areas of Vovchansk and Zapadne.
In the Kupyansk Axis, five russian attacks took place.
The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Nova Kruhliakivka, Bohuslavka, Zahryzove and towards Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 16 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Nadia, Novoserhiivka, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Nove and towards Olhivka and Zelena Dolyna.
In the Siversk Axis, in the areas of Hryhorivka, Ivano-Daryivka, Vyyimka and Verkhniokamyanske, the occupiers attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine nine times.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, five clashes were recorded near Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy carried out 13 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk and Leonidivka.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 29 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandropil, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Preobrazhenka, Troitske, Andriivka, Bohdanivka, Stara Mykolaivka and towards Serhiivka.
In the Novopavlivsk Axis, the enemy attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 15 times near Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Pryvilne and towards Bahatyr.
In the Huliaipole Axis, no clashes with the enemy were recorded over the past day.
In the Orikhiv Axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled six russian assaults in the directions of the settlements of Lobkove, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Stepove and near Kamyanske, Shcherbaky and Mali Shcherbaky.
In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the enemy conducted three offensive actions - without success.
In the Kursk Axis (russian federation), 14 clashes took place.
The enemy launched 23 air strikes here, dropping 37 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 413 artillery shelling, including 17 from MLRS.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 19 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, three command posts, one air defense system, three artillery systems, one ammunition depot, as well as one occupiers' electronic warfare station.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on April 16 amounted to 1,230 people.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 15, 111 combat clashes took place at the front, most of them in the Pokrovsk (32 clashes) and Toretsk (19) Axes.
