Drones attack russian town of Shuya, where brigade that struck Sumy on Palm Sunday based

On the morning of April 16, residents of the russian town of Shuya in the Ivanovo Oblast complained about the drone attack. The city is base to the 112th russian missile brigade. The servicemen of this missile brigade struck the city of Sumy on April 13.

This was reported by the russian Telegram channels Astra and Shot.

The attack was not officially reported, but local residents posted a video showing hit of one of the drones.

According to various sources, there were from five to seven "Liutyi" drones. Propaganda officials claim that they were all shot down.

According to local Telegram channels, the town announced the evacuation of hospitals, schools and higher educational institutions.

The attack is linked to the fact that the 112th Guards Brigade of the russian Missile Forces is based near Shuya. Earlier, the Defense Intelligence reported that it was this brigade that launched a strike on Sumy on April 13.

Recall that the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the permanent deployment point (PDP) of the 448th missile brigade of the army of the aggressor country of russia in Kursk, which on Palm Sunday launched a missile strike on the city of Sumy.

On April 13, the head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that Sumy was attacked by russian units of the 112th and 448th missile brigades with two ballistic missiles of the Iskander-M/KN-23 type.
