Fico to visit Moscow on May 9 despite EU calls

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said he will travel to Moscow (the capital of the aggressor country, russia) on May 9, and considers calls not to do so "undemocratic" and "disrespectful." Fico wrote about this on Facebook on Tuesday, April 15.

The Slovak Prime Minister stressed that the warnings and cautions of the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, regarding the visit to Moscow on May 9 are "disrespectful."

"I am going to Moscow on May 9. Is Ms. Kallas' warning blackmail or a message that I will be punished after returning from Moscow? I don't know, but I know that it is 2025, not 1939... Ms. Kallas, I want to say that I am the legitimate Prime Minister of Slovakia - a sovereign country. No one can tell me where I should or should not go," Fico wrote.

According to him, the European Union needs a debate on the nature of democracy. In addition, the Slovak Prime Minister stressed that he is allegedly one of the few in the EU who "constantly speaks about the need for peace in Ukraine, and I am not one of the ardent supporters of continuing this senseless war." Ms. Kallas' words were called "disrespectful" by Fico.
